Ian McNickle - Partner
With over 14 years combined experience in global technology companies, business and marketing consulting, and private equity Ian brings a broad background to 2Market Consulting. He has successfully helped many companies along the west coast improve and grow through development of operations, innovation, market research, sales and marketing, and strategic positioning. Often the results of these programs lead to significant increases in the client’s revenue. Ian has also positively impacted companies by developing business plans, improving strategy, and raising private equity capital.
During his time working in global technology companies Ian was a high impact contributor and was rapidly promoted into management where he managed a variety of different groups. He also led several site-wide quality and technical teams dealing with issues which were highly critical to the company’s success. During this time Ian gained valuable experience in ISO certification, numerous quality control methodologies, and Lean Six Sigma Certification. In addition, he was awarded a prestigious Presidential Award for Outstanding Value Contribution at a major semiconductor firm.
Ian has a BS in Mechanical Engineering from Washington State University. He was also a graduate of the University Honors Program. In addition, he received an MBA from the University of Washington. He has also attended marketing and consulting workshops across the country to constantly improve the company’s offerings.
Cory Roletto - Partner
Cory has over 14 years combined experience in high tech, business and marketing consulting, and private equity. He brings significant technical, analytical, marketing, and business strengths. Prior to 2Market Consulting Cory worked at Intel Corporation in several roles. As a Process Engineer his ability to quickly identify and resolve issues combined with his management skills allowed him to lead a manufacturing development team in Intel’s most advanced fabrication plant. Cory later joined Intel’s technical marketing team where he redefined the enterprise competitive marketing teams’ role, as well as implemented company-wide executive level strategies that resulted in notable enterprise growth. He also ushered in new methodologies for evaluating computer performance and power usage. Cory received 12 awards of the divisional level or higher while at Intel and many of Cory’s engineering and marketing innovations are still used at Intel today.
Since co-founding 2Market Consulting Cory has successfully helped many companies in the western United States grow through high impact changes to operations, supply chain management, manufacturing processes, strategic planning/positioning, and the development of marketing and sales tools/programs. He has also developed business plans, detailed financial projections, strategic improvements, and raised private equity capital. Cory plays an active role in the Oregon business investment community as an advisor to start-up businesses, and as a contributing member of the Oregon Angel Fund.
Cory has an MBA and BS in Chemical Engineering from the University of Washington.
